Contest Judo mats meet the requirements of the IJF.
Used extensively in clubs and leisure centres.
Gym mat manufactured in accordance with BS EN 12503-3:2001 Sports Mats, Judo Mats, safety requirements. Flame Retardant tested to BS 1892-3: 2003 "HIGH HAZARD" classification, this mat has passed the High Hazard Classification as per Table 1 of BS 1892 – 3: 2003. Made to the highest standards, they consist of 14lb (230kg/m3) foam core designed to absorb very heavy break falls as well as not being too hard for novices. Heavy gauge cellular (waffle) rubber anti-slip base offering more slip resistance than latex base. Welded corners with hard wearing Tatami look pattern to give longer life.
