Project Overview

A new education facility needed heavy duty wall and floor padding across nine rooms.

The padding needed to be strong enough to handle daily use, while also fitting perfectly around doors, sockets, switches, radiators and other features within each room.

The result was a fully bespoke padding solution, designed, manufactured and installed by Foams 4 Sports.

From Survey to Installation

We started with a full survey of the facility, measuring each room and identifying everything the padding needed to fit around.

Using these measurements, we created designs for each room so the client could see how the finished padding would look before production started.

The full project was completed in under eight weeks, with all nine rooms installed in just one week.

How We Made the Padding

Each panel was made specifically for the room it was going into.

We carefully measured and marked each piece before cutting it to size. This meant we could create neat cutouts for things such as plug sockets, switches and other fixtures.

The foam was then covered in our durable, flame resistant PVC material, creating a smooth and easy to clean finish.

Before leaving our facility, every panel was checked to make sure it was the correct size and finished to a high standard.

A Perfect Fit

One of the biggest benefits of making everything bespoke was being able to work around the features already in the building.

The padding was fitted closely around doors, corners, pillars, sockets and switches, helping create a clean and consistent finish throughout each room.

The wall and floor padding were also designed to meet neatly together, reducing gaps and exposed areas.

Where rooms had pillars or awkward corners, the padding was specially shaped to fit around them rather than using standard off the shelf pieces.

The Finished Result

The completed installation created safe, fully padded spaces that were designed specifically for the needs of the facility.
